Şebnem Berkol Yüceer

Şebnem Yüceer is a successful executive with extensive expertise in luxury retail, international brand management, and high-end customer experience. She completed her education at Pierre Loti French High School, after which she studied in the United States as an exchange student and graduated with honors from Lower Dauphin High School. She later earned a degree in English Language and Literature from Boğaziçi University. In 2016, she furthered her expertise by completing an executive program at Harvard Business School focused on women’s leadership in corporate boards. She has held leadership positions in some of the world’s most renowned brands and Turkey’s leading organizations, including British Airways, Estée Lauder Companies under Vepa Distribution, Clinique, Demsa Group, and Hillside Club by Alarko Group. In 2006, she joined Louis Vuitton as a Business Development Manager and served as the General Manager for Turkey for ten years. From 2021 to 2024, she played a pivotal role in the establishment and rapid growth of Gucci Turkey. With deep expertise in luxury retail, she has successfully led numerous projects in brand positioning, customer experience management, and marketing strategies. Her contributions to the rapid market entry of global brands into Turkey helped these brands adapt to local consumer behaviors while preserving their global identity. She has set industry standards, particularly in managing relationships with high-profile clients and creating exceptional experiences. Şebnem Yüceer also has vast experience in public and trade diplomacy, playing a key role in fostering collaboration between global brands, government bodies, and industry stakeholders. She has successfully managed diplomatic processes to facilitate cross-border business development, strategic partnerships, and market expansion. On February 19, 2024, she was appointed as the General Manager of Bulgari Turkey. She is also a member of the Board of Directors of the French Chamber of Commerce and serves as the Vice Commodore of Moda Deniz Club. An advocate for gender equality in education and women’s empowerment in society, she actively supports initiatives in these areas. Şebnem Yüceer served as the Executive Chair of the Türkiye Promotion Group, which has a budget exceeding 100 million euros, and led groundbreaking international projects to enhance Turkey’s global brand presence. Her leadership significantly contributed to showcasing Turkey’s cultural heritage, arts, and craftsmanship on an international scale. Additionally, she served as the Türkiye Chair during the Comité Colbert Turkey Year. Comité Colbert, one of the most prestigious organizations representing the French luxury and craftsmanship sector, fosters global collaborations in art, design, and craftsmanship. During this period, she led high-impact projects that introduced Turkey’s rich artisanal and artistic heritage to a global audience. Moreover, she serves as the Goodwill Ambassador for Silk Farming and the Alanya Culture and Arts Foundation, dedicated to preserving traditional crafts and promoting regional cultural values.
