Ahmet Yanıkoğlu, who graduated from the Department of Civil Engineering at Boğaziçi University, also studied project management at École Polytechnique de Montréal. With 30 years of experience in the retail sector, Yanıkoğlu began his career at Generali Sigorta A.Ş. and later served as Deputy General Manager at the company. In 1993, he became the managing partner of Cosmo Shop, Turkey's first beauty and personal care retail chain. After Cosmo Shop was acquired by A.S. Watson Group, the global leader in the field, in 2005, he continued his career as the General Manager of Watsons Turkey. Since January 2018, Yanıkoğlu has been the CEO of Caffè Nero Turkey, where he is working to position Caffè Nero as a distinctive "coffee house" and reach a broader customer base.
